Why is my candle releasing soot?

The release of soot is a natural occurrence but there are a few causes if you are experiencing excessive soot. It could be that the candle is burning in an area that is receiving a draft, there is carbon build up on the wick, not trimming the wick of the candle or over burning the candle.

We recommend trimming your wick approximately 1/8" before each use with a wick trimmer.

Why is my candle tunneling?

When a candle is tunneling it is likely because the candle has not been burning long enough for the wax to create a melt pool from edge to edge.

We recommended burning your candle for 2-3 hours for the first burn to create a full "melt pool" from edge to edge.

How long does it take for my order to process?

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@standrduniform.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

How long do I have to return items?

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
